i want to cover the lawns with dandelions.

well, i want to be the dandelion lady,
planting dandelion seeds
among the seas
of untouched kentucky bluegrass
so that every spring,
just as all the snow
has finally melted,
you'll see one dandy flower
and then two
and then three
and then four hundred more
all sharing their golden hues
with the bright light of an early spring morning,
just waiting
for someone to notice them.
